Job Description

Toll Group is a leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider with over 130 years of experience.

We are seeking an HR People Partner to support our Government and Defence operations nationwide. This role offers the opportunity to drive key HR initiatives, ensure alignment with business objectives, and provide hands-on support in employee relations, case management, and disciplinary matters.

The successful candidate will have at least 3+ years in a senior HR advisory or business partner role, with strong understanding of Australian employment law, Modern Awards, HRIS systems, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of HR strategies tailored to business objectives
  • Gaining in-depth proficiency in Workday, handling transactions related to learning and development and performance management
  • Providing hands-on support in employee relations, case management, and disciplinary matters
  • Advising on industrial instruments, Australian employment law, and Modern Awards; escalating complex issues when needed
  • Managing the employee lifecycle comprehensively, including transactional HR tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 3+ years in a senior HR advisory or business partner role
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law, Modern Awards, HRIS systems, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field
