About the Job

As a Google Cloud Architect at Premier Cloud Inc., you will play a key role in modernizing the application and infrastructure landscape of clients by architecting and implementing solutions on Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify clients' objectives and pain points and help them leverage Google Cloud solutions to bridge the gap between the old and the new.
  • Engage with stakeholders to reshape the future of clients' business solutions.
  • Deep-dive into concepts such as Anthos, Kubernetes, IaaS, and security best practices.
Requirements
  • Past experience as a cloud architect engineer, system engineer, or security engineer.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking & security.
  • Experience delivering custom solutions on a major cloud platform (GCP preferred).
  • Experience with Bash and Terraform is preferred.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, and Anthos would be considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Google Cloud Architect certification.
  • Google Cloud Security Engineer certification.
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks).
  • Knowledge of security tools and technologies (e.g., IAM, VPC Service Controls, Security Command Center).
