About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team at Kmart Group. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS
  • Lead API integration efforts to ensure seamless communication between systems
  • Oversee AWS deployment processes, ensuring robust and secure cloud infrastructure
  • Develop and manage microservices architecture to enhance system modularity and flexibility
  • Collaborate with the Architecture function and key stakeholders to deliver technological solutions that meet business objectives
  • Define and regularly update the future architecture to align with business goals
  • Track and limit technical debt to maintain robust and scalable architecture
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
  • Ensure solutions align with industry's best practices and organizational standards
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
  • Proven experience in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
  • Strong background in API integration and AWS deployment
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and Kafka
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or end-to-end supply chain is highly desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
