Your role in our Oncology/Haematology Ward involves providing high-standard patient care.

The Position
  • Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care with senior staff support when necessary.
  • Promote effective communication facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and hospital.
  • Support and supervise staff and students including orientating and precepting them.
  • Contribute to achieving operational objectives for Hospital and Clinical Services.

To succeed you must have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care well-developed interpersonal skills and ongoing education and professional development.

Oncology experience is not essential with training and support provided to get practicing confidently.
