About the Role
  • Evaluate and implement hospital policies and formulary guidelines/restrictions to ensure optimal drug utilization.
  • Participate in intern and student programs, providing guidance and support for their development.
  • Pursue research projects, present at conferences, and contribute to the growth of the profession.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver an operational pharmacy service, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work according to Barwon Health policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining high standards of practice and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engaging with medical and nursing staff to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize medication management and patient outcomes.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting respect and empathy towards colleagues and patients.
