About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Delivery Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring environmental requirements are embedded into the planning, construction and operation of projects across Queensland.

You will lead a team of specialists and work closely with project delivery teams, contractors and regulators to make sure our projects are delivered to the highest environmental standards.

The team is responsible for integrating approval conditions into project contracts and ensuring contractors deliver works in line with environmental obligations.

You will oversee assurance, compliance monitoring and investigations throughout project delivery, supporting effective outcomes across major and other projects.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure environmental performance expectations are clearly understood and achieved.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong knowledge of environmental legislation, experience embedding environmental management into construction and operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Your expertise will ensure compliance, build team capability, and support the successful delivery of projects across the state.

Degree-level qualifications in environmental science (or equivalent) with significant experience are required.
