We are seeking a skilled Electrics Professional to join our team in New South Wales. As an Electrics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment on sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical equipment installation and commissioning Underground
  • Onsite electrical auditing, testing, breakdown assistance, commissioning and installation of systems
  • Provide face-to-face support to clients
  • Work individually and in small teams across a wide range of mine sites

A willingness to get hands-on in an electrical manufacturing and service environment is complemented by the following:

  • Safety as a core value
  • Experience with HV electrical equipment and systems specific to mining (including diagnosis and fault finding)
  • Experience with Underground coal longwall systems (preferably Ampcontrol controlled systems)
  • Experience/understanding of explosion protection techniques
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant safety standards
  • Good report writing skills
  • Task-focused approach
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service

  • Hazardous Area Competencies (desirable)
  • HV Switching certificate (desirable)
