Assistant Manager Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office team, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's operation with a high level of customer service provided at all times.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in the hotel industry, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Opera, and excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. They will also have leadership qualities, with the ability to extend themselves to assisting their colleagues where needed, maintaining high levels of communication with other departments.

In addition to the above qualifications, the candidate should have the ability to navigate through change and provide quick thinking solutions should problems arise, be available to work across a 7-day roster including overnight shifts, and hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, Approved Manager card and valid First Aid or willingness to obtain prior to starting.

  • Take initiative to ensure all interactions with our guests are positive and productive
  • Actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests/customers to reach a win-win situation
