The Senior Corporate Sales Manager will play a key role in promoting the growth of the Ebury brand in new markets through independent research and targeted campaigns, focusing on larger SMEs to mid-level companies.
Main Responsibilities:- Originate new business autonomously targeting Middle Market prospects with a focus on providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with sales teams to cross-sell Ebury's lending, cash management, FX hedging, and payment products, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' business environments, strategies, and industries to deliver effective solutions that address their unique challenges.
- Analyze competitors' capabilities and gaps to position Ebury's Banking solutions as the preferred choice for customers.
- Promote sales through regular client meetings and discussions, staying up-to-date on market and industry developments while working closely with the country head.
- Expand existing business relationships and provide valuable feedback to technology and product managers to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a strong client relationship/servicing culture by maintaining ongoing customer contact, leveraging Salesforce for call reports, and delivering exceptional customer service and product expertise.
- Strong Financial Services sales experience and an extensive network of contacts would be highly beneficial.
- A background in commercial banking, selling to mid-size corporates, coupled with experience in alternative sectors such as start-ups, FX specialists, or cash management, would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with local market dynamics and knowledge of compliance requirements are essential.
- An academic background in business or finance would be ideal.
- Demonstrate passion, energy, and motivation to drive sales performance.
- Show a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and market share goals.
- Be comfortable with phone sales approaches and first-class communication skills to win people's commitment and buy-in.
- Develop sales strategies, techniques, and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment, highlighting key selling points, features, and benefits aligned with customer needs and expectations.
- Excel as a skilled negotiator, building and leveraging relationships at senior levels within SMB customers.
- Demonstrate quick learning abilities, strong analytical skills, and fluency in business English.
