Job Description

Ebury is a hyper-growth FinTech firm, recognized as one of the top 15 European Fintechs to work for by AltFi. We offer a range of innovative products including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.

The Sales Growth Specialist will be responsible for promoting the growth of the Ebury brand in their country through independent research and targeted campaigns, focusing on larger SMEs to mid-level companies.

About the Role:

  • Originate new business autonomously targeting Middle Market prospects, utilizing in-depth industry knowledge and effective sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to cross-sell Ebury's lending, cash management, FX hedging, and payment products, ensuring seamless client solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business environments, strategies, and industries to provide tailored solutions and exceptional customer service.
  • Analyze competition capabilities and gaps to better position Ebury's Banking solutions and stay ahead in the market.
  • Promote sales through regular client meetings and discussions covering new products, market developments, and industry insights, working closely with the country head.
  • Expand existing business relationships and provide feedback to technology and product managers to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain Ebury's strong client relationship/servicing culture through ongoing customer contact, written call reports via Salesforce, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Strong Financial Services sales experience and an established network of contacts would be an advantage.
  • Experience working in a commercial bank (one or several) selling to mid-size corporates, coupled with experience in an environment different from a bank (start-up vendor, FX specialist, cash management, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the local market and its dynamics.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulations.
  • A business/finance academic background would be ideal.

  • Able to develop sales strategies, techniques, and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment, presenting key selling points, features, and benefits while focusing on customer needs and expectations.
  • A skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels within SMB customers.
  • Quick learner; strong analytical skills and fluency in Business English are essential.
