Job Title: Security and Loss Prevention Coordinator
">The role of a Security and Loss Prevention Coordinator is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing schedules, and ensuring that all security personnel are adequately trained.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Security Operations: Oversee daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff
- Physical Security: Manage physical security of site through guarding service, monitor optimum functioning of physical security devices & controls
- Performance Excellence: Inspire performance excellence among security service team members
- Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular walk-throughs, security inspections for assigned facilities, implement and ensure adherence to stringent audit scheduling, with findings documented and communicated
- Training and Development: Ensure 100% Training of all security guards, perform initial risk assessments of site operations, propose mitigation measures
- Emergency Response: Respond and assist in emergency response, workplace incidents
- Analytical Skills: Perform trend analysis, data mining using various in-house tools to detect patterns indicating theft, fraud or abuse
- Investigations and Compliance: Identify preliminary investigations or policy violations, recognize root cause, construct findings report, assist in developing management action plan for process formulation / compliance / improvement
- Process Improvement: Drive corrective, preventive process changes that impact shrink reduction matrix
- SLP Process Performance: Evaluate SLP process performance, internal policies and recommend mitigation / optimization areas
- Vendor Management: Assist in managing security services vendor for SLA adherence and conduct training for guarding force on SLP processes
- Staff Training: Train staff on SLP related topics for increased awareness and site compliance
- Relationship Building: BUILD effective working relationships within team & key stakeholders
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years experience in security field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with security software and hardware
- Certifications such as CPR/First Aid and OSHA
