
Child Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate therapist to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy to individuals and their supports.
The therapist will practice autonomously while having access to clinical support and peer consultation within a great team. They will work closely with children, young people, families, and adults, providing meaningful, evidence-based therapy that makes a difference in clients' lives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals as required
- Participate in regular peer consultation, supervision, and team discussions
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards
- Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute ideas to improve our service
About You:
- Able to deliver compassionate and evidence-based therapy
- Skilled at building strong rapport and maintaining professional boundaries
- A lifelong learner with a collaborative mindset
- Full AHPRA registration (General or Clinical Psychologist)
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology
- Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance
- ABN
- Working with Children check
- Experience working with children, young people, or an interest in working with these age groups
- Experience working in the NDIS system
