Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate therapist to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy to individuals and their supports.

The therapist will practice autonomously while having access to clinical support and peer consultation within a great team. They will work closely with children, young people, families, and adults, providing meaningful, evidence-based therapy that makes a difference in clients' lives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop effective intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals as required
  • Participate in regular peer consultation, supervision, and team discussions
  • Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute ideas to improve our service

About You:

  • Able to deliver compassionate and evidence-based therapy
  • Skilled at building strong rapport and maintaining professional boundaries
  • A lifelong learner with a collaborative mindset
  • Full AHPRA registration (General or Clinical Psychologist)
  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology
  • Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance
  • ABN
  • Working with Children check
  • Experience working with children, young people, or an interest in working with these age groups
  • Experience working in the NDIS system
