At Right at Home, we're seeking experienced professionals to join our team in the Perth West Coast area.
We provide person-centred care to clients living with complex and post-operative care needs, dementia and cognitive decline, seniors, and people living with a disability. Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes.
As a Home Care Support Worker, you will work in the community to support individuals to stay home and maintain independence. This role involves providing one-on-one care to clients, focusing on engagement and assistance with daily living tasks.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Current industry knowledge and skills
- Strong understanding of Aged Care and NDIS Standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of time management and organisational ability
- Flexibility
- Willingness to participate in further education opportunities
For this role, you will need:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability or similar.
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Working With Children Card
- Manual handling certificate
- Australian drivers licence and reliable car
- Medication administration qualification
- Understanding of local geographical area
