About us
We are a dedicated NDIS provider making a difference by providing SIL and SDA solutions for participants and support coordinators.
Our goal is to offer services that provide choice independence and dignity in a physically and emotionally safe environment supporting people with disabilities.
Our team of Support Workers can assist with daily household tasks giving individuals the opportunity to improve their quality of life.
As a Support Worker you will support people in their day-to-day living ensuring they have opportunities to develop and maintain a valued lifestyle as described within their individual plan.
You will provide services to individuals developed specifically for their needs using a 'Person Centred' approach of delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with all areas of personal care including feeding bathing toileting and grooming.
- Providing mobility assistance including transfers/hoisting.
- Managing participant medication or other medical needs adhering to policies and procedures and instructions from medical practitioners.
- Providing physical support and assistance to participate in activities and meal preparation.
- Supporting external activities such as transport for shopping outings appointments and medical visits.
Mandatory requirements:
- NDIS worker screening.
Highly regarded qualifications and certifications include:
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS worker orientation and induction modules certificates.
- Medication and manual handling certification.
- Certificate III in Individual Support.
- Current driver's license.
Experience and/or qualifications in or working towards Certificate III or IV in Disability/Mental Health would be highly regarded and awarded.
