Job Opportunity

This is an exciting role for a mechanical design professional to join our technical team and contribute to innovative sampling projects.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor, with extensive relevant experience in mechanical design. They will also possess strong engineering skills and the ability to deliver accurate and practical solutions.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings using 2D/3D software and issuing accurate manufacturing drawings to fabricators. You will also review and check drawings generated by others to ensure compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have evidence of tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, a Mechanical Engineering Certificate, or a relevant trade qualification. Strong communication skills are also essential, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing arrangement and detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor for mechanical sampling projects.
  • Issuing accurate manufacturing drawings to fabricators.
  • Reviewing and checking drawings generated by others to ensure compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.

This is a full-time role that requires a skilled and collaborative team player who can work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • High level of proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Strong engineering skills and ability to deliver accurate and practical solutions.
  • Evidence of tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
