Customer Due Diligence Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our Customer Due Diligence (CDD) team in delivering exceptional results.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, guiding and developing a high-performing team within a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the team to ensure they deliver on agreed daily call targets, communicate progress and escalate any issues
  • Contacting customers to verify and update primary CDD details
  • Ensuring accurate and effective updating of customer details using key systems while meeting team and individual KPIs
  • SUPPORTING AND MOTIVATING THE TEAM IN MEETING INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM TARGETS
  • Conducting call quality control checks to ensure procedures are adequately followed and providing feedback as required

The role requires a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification such as Commerce, Business, Law, Maths or Economics is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience working within a financial institution is also desirable but not required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Ability to work within defined policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of core banking systems is desired but not essential

The candidate must have a highly adaptable attitude and willingness to respond to changing business needs.
