About The Role

Our dental practice is seeking an experienced receptionist to support our team on a part-time basis.

We are looking for a warm, personable, and organised individual with prior dental experience to deliver exceptional patient care.

Conveniently located in the heart of Geelong, our practice is easily accessible by public transport and surrounded by great amenities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Administrative Support: Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing information about treatments and addressing patient concerns or complaints.
  • Billing and Insurance: Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and assist patients with payment plans and verification.
  • Records Management: Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance within regulations.
  • Office Organisation: Keep the reception area tidy and organised, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication between front and back office.

Requirements
  • Prior experience is essential
  • A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
