Join the team at Hampton Cosmetic and Implant Dental Centre, a leading practice located in Bayside. Our practice boasts four rooms and offers a comprehensive range of General Dental Services with a focus on exceptional patient care. We specialize in Cosmetic and Implant services, Adult fixed and Aligner Orthodontics, and boast a well-established Hygiene and Oral Health Therapy Department. Serving a diverse demographic spanning all ages with higher than average earnings per household and property values, our patients have high expectations, and we are committed to exceeding them.
**Role Responsibilities**:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our dentists, hygienists, and other team members in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing chair-side assistance during dental procedures
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment
- Maintaining a welcoming environment for patients
- Assisting with reception and administrative tasks as needed
- Upholding strict protocols for infection control and safety
**Certifications and Qualifications**:
**Team Collaboration**:
You will collaborate closely with other members of the dental team, working alongside Dental Assistants and rotating among providers. Our practice fosters open communication and teamwork dynamics through daily chats, WhatsApp groups, and regular meetings.
**Patient Interaction**:
Your role in interacting with patients before, during, and after procedures is crucial. You will be responsible for creating a comfortable environment, actively engaging with patients, and providing support throughout their visit.
**Infection Control and Safety**:
We adhere to all standard procedures for infection control and safety as advised by the ADA. You will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment by following our practice protocols diligently.
**Equipment and Technology**:
Full training will be provided as necessary. Familiarity with software such as Oasis is beneficial but not essential.
**Continuing Education and Training**:
We support the ongoing professional development of our Dental Assistants through daily chats, meetings, and annual training sessions. Additional certifications or advanced training opportunities are available upon request.
**Performance Evaluation**:
Performance evaluation is conducted through ongoing feedback and annual reviews.
**Work Environment**:
Our practice cultivates a professional, unified, and fun work environment. We believe in fostering a supportive culture where every team member feels valued and appreciated.
**Hours and Remuneration**:
The position requires 38 hours worked over 4 days, with flexible scheduling. Remuneration ranges from $28 to $35 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
