Remote Dental Care Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Remote Dental Care Specialist in Northern Territory communities, providing culturally safe and high-quality care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide treatment to patients in remote clinics, working collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
  • Work on short-term placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered by the employer.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience.
  • Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in Hand Hygiene, Infection Control and Sterilisation/Introduction to reprocessing reusable Medical Devices within the past 12 months.
