An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a seasoned financial leader to spearhead our company's financial growth in Sydney. This part-time role offers flexibility and the chance to work with a diverse team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead financial oversight across multiple entities, including cash flow management, financial reporting, compliance, investment monitoring, and operational improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the bookkeeper and accounting firm to oversee all statutory filings and annual tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements for all entities.
- Prepare quarterly financial accounts for all operating entities and liaise with accountants to finalise annual accounts.
- Monitor cash balances across entities and banks, ensuring excess funds are optimally invested.
- Manage third-party IT and software systems, optimising license fees and financial technology integrations.
- Coordinate with tax advisers on tax strategy, asset structuring, and regulatory considerations.
- Proven experience in a similar finance director role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance requirements.
- Experience in preparing financial accounts and liaising with accountants.
- Ability to monitor cash balances across entities and banks.
- Experience managing third-party IT and software systems.
- Knowledge of tax strategy, asset structuring, and regulatory considerations.
