A leading independent school in Tasmania seeks a visionary leader to join its leadership team as Director of Wellbeing.

The role is responsible for developing and implementing the school's wellbeing framework, championing child safeguarding, and overseeing inclusive practices for neurodiverse learners and students with additional needs.

About the Role

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the school's E–12 wellbeing framework to promote resilience, connection, and positive mental health outcomes for students.
  • Child Safeguarding: Champion and ensure compliance with national and state legislation and standards.
  • Inclusive Practices: Oversee initiatives that support neurodiverse learners, gifted students, and students with additional needs.
  • Wellbeing Initiatives: Lead initiatives promoting resilience, positive relationships, and a safe, inclusive work environment.
  • Team Mentoring: Mentor and guide a team of wellbeing leaders, psychologists, and pastoral care staff.
