A strategic leader is sought to join our leadership team as Director of Wellbeing.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive wellbeing framework for students and staff.
  • Ensure child safeguarding and compliance with national and state legislation and standards.
  • Oversee inclusive practices that support diverse learners.
  • Promote resilience, positive relationships, and a safe work environment through wellbeing initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide wellbeing leaders, psychologists, and pastoral care staff.
  • Collaborate with sectional leaders to embed wellbeing practices in curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Engage parents and communities to support wellbeing initiatives.
  • Monitor wellbeing trends and inform continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in education and/or wellbeing-related fields.
  • Current Teachers Registration Board of Tasmania registration and Working with Vulnerable People registration.

About the Role: The Director of Wellbeing will lead wellbeing initiatives to promote resilience and connection among students.
