Senior Asset Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Asset Manager to lead the establishment and development of our asset management capability. This role involves bringing together our organisation's knowledge and developing it in line with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement asset management strategies, advising senior leaders on replacement and investment plans.
- Build and manage a team of asset management professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Provide leadership across the organisation for the asset management lifecycle, ensuring that our assets are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of our Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS), ensuring its effective use and acceptance into service.
The role will focus on our observing network assets portfolio, including radars, automatic weather stations, and other distributed assets across Australia.
As a member of the Observing Systems Operations team, you will coordinate staff across the business to develop sound plans and ensure that our assets deliver maximum value to customers.
Requirements- Possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Have a strong understanding of asset management principles and practices.
- Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Have experience working with enterprise asset management systems.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects. They will be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
