We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Senior Technical Advisor to join our team at Water Corporation. As a key member of our Treatment and Resource Recovery (TARR) team, you will provide specialist engineering and scientific consultancy services to support conventional water treatment operations throughout the Corporation in regional WA.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advice and support in the operation of regional conventional water treatment plants.
- Undertake treatment, process, and chemistry investigations to optimise treatment plant performance.
- Perform regular reviews of water treatment plant performance, both desktop and field-based.
- Provide expertise to capital projects related to Water Treatment.
- A tertiary qualification (Degree level or higher) in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
- Advanced knowledge of Water Treatment processes and technologies.
- Demonstrated computing skills and proficiency in the Microsoft suite of applications.
- Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills.
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, particularly intra-corporation.
- Advanced technical and scientific report writing skills.
- $131,740 + Super
- RDO's available, working 76 hrs over 9 days for a 3-day weekend each fortnight.
- Inconvenience/Travel allowance paid on regional trips.
- Working from Home days.
- Additional 2% super contribution when you elect to salary sacrifice 2% of your salary to super.
- 24th December paid leave day.
- 2 paid Well-being Leave days per 12 months of service.
- Annual Leave loading 17.5%.
- Access to Long Service Leave pro-rata after 3 years of continuous service.
