We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Semi-Truck Driver to join our team in Hemmant. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with all regulations.
- Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules and minimizing delays.
- Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation, including logbooks and manifests.
- Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
- Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported and meets safety standards.
- A valid HC Licence with minimum 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
- Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
- Solid knowledge of regional areas or interstate routes.
- Ability to provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
- Completion of Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
- Excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
- Competitive Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
