About us

Our team is responsible for the maintenance, support and upgrade of our network infrastructure, systems and designs in a period of technological change.

We contribute to incident and request management, proactive network monitoring and contributing to network security.

Our goal is to drive network stability, support and opportunities to improve by assisting with knowledge and experience.

Close work with the infrastructure manager to manage our network hardware lifecycles and contribute to research and selection of new hardware when replacing outdated or retired components.

Set up new equipment at various sites across the country.

Job Responsibilities
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve network problems and provide advice on preventative strategies.
  • Perform complex network engineering work under broad direction.
  • Work independently with autonomy and accountability for outcomes.
  • Highlight perceived security risks to managers.
  • Identify areas of risk and review the adequacy and effectiveness of the approach.
  • Exercise initiative and judgement in interpreting policy and applying practices and procedures.
  • Produce technical documentation and knowledge artefacts supporting design and operational continuity.
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies to design, deliver and support network communications infrastructure.
  • Assist in customer satisfaction and provider relationships.
  • Input on system availability, capacity planning, usability and performance management.
  • Input on technical roadmaps and service improvement activities.
  • Advise on best practice implementation and security compliance of the Network Infrastructure.

To be successful, you must demonstrate:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Minimum CCNA certified, CCNP and/or CCIE desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to contribute to projects and initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in designing, maintaining and implementing complex ICT networks, with a strong track record in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Developing structured procedures and conducting routine hardware/software installations and de-installations.
  • Demonstrated experience with gateway technologies, remote access and proxies.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco switches, ISE and ASA's and Fortinet products.
  • Experienced in configuring routing, switching and secure tunnelling within large-scale networks.
  • Demonstrated experience in Azure networking services and hybrid cloud network development.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a baseline clearance.
