Procurement and Inventory Management Role

This is a key position in our workshop team located in Brisbane, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of parts and materials to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of parts & materials for current projects
  • Oversee inventory levels and optimise control systems
  • Negotiate and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement and contract negotiations
  • Maintain positive relationships with key suppliers
  • Seek and vet new suppliers as business demands change
  • Assist the Engineering team with estimating when required

We are looking for someone who demonstrates excellent communication and negotiation skills, and has a professional presentation, reliability, and a positive attitude.

This role offers a competitive annual salary, permanent full-time position, and a great working culture, team environment. If you have experience in the manufacturing industry, especially in heavy-duty equipment, steel, industrial products or quarry products, this would be highly regarded.

Additionally, the selected candidate should have the ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall performance of the team.
