
Clinical Liaison Rural Healthcare Specialist

Job Description
As a key member of the clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient-centred nursing care across various health service settings. This role offers opportunities to develop your skills and expertise, with accountability for your practice, delegated activities, and supporting the growth of less experienced staff.
You will work closely with medical, nursing, and allied health staff to deliver coordinated care and improve health outcomes for rural patients. Your responsibilities will include case management, quality and safety initiatives, and contributing to projects that ensure the service meets its performance indicators.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registered or eligible for registration as a nurse with the Nursing Board of Australia.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven experience in prioritising workloads, working independently, and providing leadership and guidance to students and less experienced staff.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, professional standards, healthcare issues, and the public health system.
