Role Overview

The quality reviewer plays a unique and critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, timely independent medical opinions to clients. This position involves reviewing specialist medical reports to ensure accuracy and clarity for effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review specialist medical reports to deliver high-quality, timely independent medical opinions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, referring clients, and specialist consultants to ensure accuracy and clarity in reports.
  • Ensure legislative and customer compliance requirements are met prior to report release.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate inaccurate or incomplete reports.
  • Identify and contribute to report quality and process improvements.
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in industry case management or allied health role within personal injury and/or accident compensation settings.
  • Experience interpreting and utilizing independent medical reports.
  • Understanding of workers' compensation environment, insurance schemes, fitness-for-work frameworks, permanent impairment assessments, and medicolegal environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in a health-related science or related discipline.
