We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Engineer to join our Insitu Pacific team. As a key member of our logistics support team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Logistics Support Analyses (LSA) for our Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) product line.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, review, and maintain Logistics Engineering and Support Analysis electronic database and document products associated with the UAS Logistics Support Analyses.
- Apply advanced engineering technical standards, principles, and techniques to develop, maintain, measure, and continuously improve Logistics Support Analysis processes, procedures, and tools.
- Lead the development of core product line and project/customer-specific LSA data and document products, in accordance with Insitu Pacific Quality Management System (IPQMS) processes and customer requirements.
- Update LSA records, data, and documented products based on internal/external reviews, source data changes, equipment modifications, and customer improvement requests, and resolve source data gaps and inconsistencies with originators.
- Hold Engineering Authority (EA) and conduct authoritative reviews of completed LSA elements for overall technical accuracy and customer format standards/specifications.
- Analyse Product Support requirements to determine project scope and deliverables, estimate the impact of proposals or changes to LSA products and services, and develop LSA program plans, budgets, and baseline schedules.
- Monitor performance to project plan and budget, coordinate actions to meet project objectives, participate in or conduct customer technical and program reviews, and resolve identified discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
- Engineering degree in a discipline relating to product support, and typically 9 or more years of work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret aerospace systems and associated technical information to develop high-quality, compliant LSA products.
- Extensive experience with definition, set-to-work, and operation of Product Support and life-cycle analysis-related business systems.
- Expertise and ability to collect, organize, synthesise, and analyse data, summarise findings, develop conclusions, and recommendations from appropriate data sources at the department level.
- Knowledge in the use of personal computing hardware and software to enter project information, such as statements of work, resource identification and usage, task status, cost estimating and tracking, etc.
- Complete knowledge of processes and tools to maintain, archive, and retrieve digital files.
- Complete ability in constructing/building and providing reports and presentation material as needed for assigned projects.
- Knowledge of research tools, methods, and appropriate resources to gather needed data.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to schedule commitments.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team environment.
- The ability to work accurately and unsupervised, and the ability to prioritise work as required and manage external/internal resources.
