Personal Care Role Opportunity

This position involves providing quality care and recreational activities to residents, working under the guidance and mentorship of registered nurses.

  • Deliver high-quality direct care and support to residents in accordance with best practice guidelines.
  • Establish positive relationships with residents and work collaboratively within a team environment characterized by respect, integrity, and teamwork.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and changes in resident behavior, communicating effectively with registered nurses.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of residents' care plans.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
  • At least 6 months of experience as an aged care worker in residential, home care, or disability services.
  • Current flu and COVID vaccination certificates.
  • Ability to work consistently throughout lockdown periods.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work required shifts.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with residents, families, and all levels of staff.
  • A strong passion for working with elderly individuals.
