Customer Service Specialist

Are you a dedicated customer service professional looking for a new challenge?

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, handling high volumes of inbound calls, liaising with referring veterinarians, welcoming clients and their pets to the hospital, booking and managing appointments, and processing payments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling multiple phone lines simultaneously while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure
  • Liaising with veterinarians and clients to provide accurate information and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Managing appointments, including booking, canceling, and rescheduling
  • Processing payments via cash, EFTPOS, Vetpay, and Medipay finance platforms

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, preferably in a high-volume call center or reception environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in data entry software and experience with appointment entries and invoicing systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Flexibility to work during busy periods, including peak seasons, and adapt to changing circumstances
