Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technology Director to lead our cloud engineering team and drive the development of our cloud technology platform. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in establishing and guiding a Cloud Centre of Excellence within a regulated framework, ensuring compliance and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of our cloud technology platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and customers.
  • Lead a team of cloud engineers to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects and business leaders to understand and shape business and technology strategies.
  • Advocate for new cloud technologies and lead the adoption of cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale, critical applications and platforms.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in cloud technologies, with a strong focus on hyperscale platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS.
  • Proven leadership in managing software engineering teams, fostering a dynamic and agile development environment.
  • Skilled in integrating purpose-built PaaS solutions like Datastax Astra, Confluent Kafka, and Elastic Cloud.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles and open-source technologies.
