Handyperson Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to fill the position of handyperson. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to workplace health & safety.

The role involves carrying out reactive maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas, as well as performing preventative maintenance tasks to identify and resolve issues before they become problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Responding promptly to broken light bulbs or leaking pipes in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Performing basic repairs, including patching & painting, pressure washing, cleaning HVAC vents, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Cleaning and tidying workspaces and maintenance areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.

Requirements for the role include:

  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • A high level of attention-to-detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • A commitment to workplace health & safety and manual handling capability of up to 15kg without difficulty.
