About the Role">
  • We are seeking a skilled mental health professional to provide assessments, evidence-based treatment and case management services to adults referred to our service with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses.

The successful candidate will be based within a multidisciplinary community mental health team and will be responsible for providing quality and safe care for individuals with mental illness, disorder or dysfunction, people with emotional difficulties and experiencing life transition, distress and/or crisis within best practice guidelines and in accordance with professional standards, medico legal and statutory requirements.

The position also involves the provision of mental health crisis intervention services to individuals of all ages.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapies to support clients' recovery and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care
  • Participate in regular supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Current registration with relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA)
  • Experience working in mental health settings, preferably in a community-based setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and time management skills
