Statutory Planning Graduate Opportunity

This full-time graduate opportunity is available to an eligible candidate completing their Bachelor's Degree in Town Planning. The successful applicant will be mentored by experienced professionals in the Statutory Planning team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work across various aspects of statutory planning, including duty enquiries, development assessment, compliance, and policy.
  • Gain hands-on experience in all facets of statutory planning, development assessment, compliance, and policy.
  • Be involved with activities related to urban, rural, and environmental planning matters.
  • Work alongside an experienced planning team.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Currently enrolled in or studying in your penultimate or final year a Bachelor of Planning (or equivalent) at a registered education provider.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email and internet programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to apply planning theory to real-world situations.
  • Organisational skills and time management with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Motivated with a willingness to learn.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $58,494.80 - $63,980.80 gross plus superannuation per annum.
