Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team as a Senior Accountant. This is a key contributing role that will act as a 2IC to the Finance Manager when required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective and efficient daily business processing activities, including reconciliations within the ERP system.
  • Assist in leading junior members of the Finance team as a genuine 2IC to the Finance Manager.
  • Participate in other tasks such as fixed asset management, payroll, inventory/stock management and analysis, statutory/external financial reporting, and budget/forecast preparation.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc improvement projects as directed.

Requirements

  • CA/CPA-qualified team player with a minimum 5 years' industry experience within an ASX-listed environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of general accounting standards.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred, but not essential).
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing financial information.
