About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Perth, Osborne Park. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in coordinating and preparing group and divisional reporting requirements, including budget and forecast. You will also be responsible for coordinating project results, preparing audit and revenue papers, and managing payroll accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prepare group and divisional reporting requirements, including budget and forecast.
  • Coordinate project results and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare audit and revenue papers as required.
  • Manage payroll accounting and reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and reviews.
  • Provide analytical support to finance-related activities and drive improvements.
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities, including FP&A.
  • Support projects with no cost controllers.
Requirements
  • CPA or CPA qualified.
  • Experience in resource engineering and construction industry or similar companies.
  • Desirable experience in auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations and standards.
  • Understanding of project revenue and cost recognition terms.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a strong team contributor.
  • Advanced analytical skills and Microsoft skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
