About the Role

We are seeking a visionary professional to lead our inclusion initiatives, fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity within our school community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote social-emotional learning, equity, and accessibility for all students.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of inclusive practices and policies that promote social-emotional learning, equity, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement inclusive strategies and provide support for students with diverse needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of professional learning opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in inclusive practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Special Education or a related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
  • Proven experience in leading and implementing inclusive practices, with a focus on social-emotional learning, equity, and accessibility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively, with a solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures related to inclusive education.
