Job Summary

The role serves as a Feasibility Cost Manager & Post-Contract Cost Manager delivering retail projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering project deliverables through the life of the project, including Estimating, Procurement, Contract, and Post-Contract activities for projects valued between $1m to $10m.
  • Developing good working relationships with client project management teams and internal cost management teams.
  • Gaining a good understanding of processes, tools, and best practice templates used to meet our deliverables.
  • Gaining a good understanding of terminology and ways of working within the retail sector.
  • Providing clients with cost advice for budget purposes, including cost planning of upcoming projects (New Stores and Renewals).
  • Clearly understanding our scope of service and carrying out commission management functions at project level.
  • Managing deliverables for retail projects at different stages within a large programme of works.
  • Overseeing 5 to 6 projects within Supermarkets and Metro workstreams.
  • Being the key point of contact at project level between T&T and client delivery project managers.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • A recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
  • Sound experience in cost planning.
  • Ability to manage projects on their own and have good client-facing skills.
  • CostX experience.
  • A driving licence.
