Gas Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team in Thomastown, VIC.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop asset strategies that balance cost, risk and performance.
- Monitor network performance, maintain capacity models and identify gas supply risks.
- Design network augmentation plans and develop business cases for organic growth and major customer changes.
- Provide capacity assessment and engineering support for new biogas and hydrogen projects.
- Develop asset management plans, contribute to capital expenditure planning and design gas network asset lifecycle strategies.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering with quality postgraduate experience.
- Gas industry and asset management experience is an advantage.
- Detailed knowledge of gas networks, pipelines and associated infrastructure design, construction and maintenance policies and practices.
- Working knowledge of gas hydraulic modeling packages for steady state and transient flow modeling.
- Experience with developing and utilizing utility-based asset management systems, processes and tools.
