Job Title: Data Insight Specialist

Overview

This position plays a crucial role in supporting business decisions with data-driven insights. As a Data Insight Specialist, you will be responsible for utilising data and analytics to inform strategic plans and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, identify opportunities, and resolve complex problems.
  • Develop high-quality analysis and reporting that meets the needs of the organisation.
  • Contribute to the development of self-service capabilities within the team.
  • Work with the business to envision and implement advanced analytics solutions to enhance efficiency and prediction.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities related to data quality and governance.
Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with modern data architectures, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of operational and analytical data architectures, governance, and ethics.
  • Intermediate skills in SQL, Python, and R for data analysis.
  • Experience in developing data visualisations and reports using Power BI.
