Care Companion Role
">We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Companion. This community-based role involves providing support to aged people who live at home, either independently or with family.
">As a Care Companion, you will be actively supporting individual needs which may include:
">- Delivering personal care
- Household domestic assistance (cleaning, mopping, dusting)
- Meal preparation
- Accompanying customers on shopping trips, appointments and community activities
- Providing general companionship
- Helping build social networks
Responsibilities of this role include working autonomously with minimal supervision, being physically fit to meet the demands of the role, and holding a valid Driver's Licence. You will also be required to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring it is appropriately insured.
">A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and CPR and First Aid certificates are also necessary for this position. We value individuals who are dedicated and passionate about making a meaningful impact in their career.
