Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider in the NDIS Recovery Coaching space.

As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you will play a pivotal role in supporting participants towards achieving their goals and leading fulfilling lives.

The Recovery Coaching Plus Program sets up our Recovery Coaches and participants for success by implementing capacity building recovery skills, such as motivation, resilience, and decision-making abilities.

  • Facilitate the development of recovery-focused relationships with participants through providing linkages to both NDIS Funded, community and mainstream services.
  • Support participants with their recovery planning, ensuring participants and their care team are prepared for the episodic nature of mental health.
  • Empower participants to understand and navigate their support coordination needs within their NDIS Plan
  • Navigate administrative tasks in collaboration with the participant and the National Office Team to ensure continuity of support for participants.
  • Provide tailored support based on the participant's needs, preferences and goals using a strength-based approach.
  • Link participants with community services and monitor NDIS budgets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Certificate IV in Mental Health or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/related field (including currently studying) OR 1 year of experience in the mental health sector or related field.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children's Check.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Minimum probationary driver's license and fully comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate
