Are you a passionate nurse seeking a new challenge in urgent care?

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified nurse to join our dynamic team at one of our medical centres.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and triage skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients presenting to the Urgent Care Service
  • Take appropriate action for any triaged patients who require escalation due to an emergency presentation or deterioration of illness or injury
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability for the dynamic Urgent Care environment
  • Provide high-quality person-centred care activities relating to patients' injuries or illnesses in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners
  • Ensure patients receive desired clinical outcomes
  • Provide health education to patients as required
  • Complete all documentation promptly and accurately
Requirements
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Previous experience in triage in an emergency department, preferably 1 year minimum
  • 3 years' experience as an RN preferred
  • Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and a high level of critical thinking
  • Can work autonomously and delegate when appropriate
  • Possession of a passion for people with a personable approach
