Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Urgent Care Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all patients receive high-quality frontline care in collaboration with medical practitioners.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing triage to ensure timely patient assessment and treatment.
  • Act promptly to escalate any triaged patients requiring emergency attention or due to clinical deterioration.
  • Perform procedural work, such as suturing and plastering, to provide optimal patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the dynamic urgent care environment.
  • Deliver person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners.
  • Ensure patients achieve desired clinical outcomes through effective health education and support.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and efficiently.

About You:

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse with at least 3 years of experience in acute care settings.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to assess and recognize health deterioration and escalate appropriately.
  • Strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Can work autonomously and delegate tasks when necessary.
