We are seeking a candidate who can conduct in-depth analysis of model behavior, identify failure modes, and propose data- or algorithm-based solutions. This includes independently running end-to-end fine-tuning experiments from data curation and setup to analysis and reporting. Additionally, the ideal candidate will contribute to Core Infrastructure: Help build and improve the core training and experimentation infrastructure to increase research velocity.

  • This position requires hands-on experience training and fine-tuning large-scale language models in a professional or advanced academic setting.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and deep expertise with PyTorch or TensorFlow are essential.
  • A strong intuition for machine learning and ability to debug and solve challenging problems in a complex model codebase are also necessary.
  • A strong background in statistics and a rigorous, data-driven approach to experimentation are required for this role.">
