The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Expertise Lawyer to join us in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne on a full-time or part-time basis (3-4 days/week). As an integral member of our Competition expertise team, you will be responsible for developing an expertise plan that aligns with our firm's strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement an expertise plan that tracks progress on targets and establishes priorities for the next financial year.
- Provide technical advice and support to lawyers at all levels.
- Monitor legal and market developments, reporting on changes in the law, procedure, or market practice.
- Create engaging training materials that capture learners' attention and align with our brand.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need;
- Australian legal qualifications.
- A range of experience across competition and consumer law work-types.
- Experience in multi-jurisdictional merger filing matters and understanding of merger filing thresholds analysis.
- Technically excellent, with abilities commensurate with a mid-level associate.
- Experience writing legal publications or the ability to produce high-quality publications in a short timeframe.
