About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in a community health funded role. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be evaluating clients' functional capacity, home environment, and support needs.

This includes Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental ADL assessments, focusing on tasks such as showering, dressing, mobility, and community access. You will also identify the need for Assistive Technologies, evaluate barriers to independence, and provide tailored recommendations to enhance safety and quality of life.

The reports include clinical observations, client-reported challenges, and actionable recommendations to maximise independence and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate clients' functional capacity, home environment, and support needs
  • Conduct Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental ADL assessments
  • Identify the need for Assistive Technologies
  • Provide tailored recommendations to enhance safety and quality of life

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Australia
  • Caring, confident, and professional manner, including strong correspondence and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Strong commitment to growing your clinical skills and knowledge
