Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess patients' physical and mental abilities and develop tailored treatment plans
  • To provide therapy sessions to patients, including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and other forms of rehabilitation
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and families

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
